Catventure

Catventure is a tribute to my cats. I have four between my parents. My dad has Kalma and Toby, the late Misty before she passed away around 2 years ago, and Tricki and Boo live with my mom. I wanted to include them in this project because, well, they’re adorable! I needed characters, and if there’s one thing I already have an abundance of in my camera roll… it’s cat pictures. I do believe the internet was created to look at cat pictures and videos. I decided to make this project like the one example we looked at of the solar system, with the information on each planet. Although this one has a narrator in the form of Kalma, the others are scattered around to be randomly clicked on. It is like a biography of each, just some additional and ridiculous information about them. I wanted them to each have a special talent! Of course I wish that Tricki could actually make balloon animals and that Boo was a paleontologist. If anything it is their own lack of worth ethic that is stopping them. The primary easter egg being my dog Layla was just necessary, I couldn't leave her out. Although I am a cat person, I do get sent a lot of Layla pictures by my mom. I just feel like each of my pets have such bold personalities, their behavior is very recognizable as theirs and that is kind of what I wanted to emulate with this project.
